All is in the title

Hello,

Do you have a method or some trick to find a title to a novel (or short story) when inspiration don't come, and by the way, what's your novel's favourite title or the one you found the most ingenious ?

Thanks for the ansewrs

Now I'll be direct, I have a title idea for a short story I'm possibly going to submit, I don't know if it's right as a title (I mean grammaticly), and I don't know if I would break a rule by requiring your opinions ! :/

I tend to use something important from within the story.

And I keep a list as I'm writing it - anything useable that pops into my head - and choose once I've finished. So I usually end up with a half-dozen or so possibles by the end which is better than scrabbling around desperately trying to think of a title when you should be editing ;)

I use the main characters name Jacob Jones and then based the rest on the theme of the store. Four example Harry Potter and the philosopher's Stone, Jacob Jones and the order of seven. It worked for me. Good luck
