Hi again,
There's an event happening on the 20th May in London about how to edit your work, I was just wondering if it was worth me attending as I haven't completed my novel yet. Is it still worth me attending for the advice and experience?

Hi Kim
I'd love to attend an event about self-editing, but there are none near me. Some users of W&A would say I need to attend an editing course too - due to my atrocious punctuation, in particular.
No matter how many times I read my work, I always miss something. I 'think' I have the basics of punctuation/ grammar down, but then someone points out an obvious flaw.
Anyway, I'm sure it will be an invaluable tool to have as a writer, so I'd say make the most of it if you can.
Good luck with your first draft. Look forward to reading some of your work.
Clare
Your encouragement means a lot, and yes I don't think it would be wasted as I'm going to need this advice some point down the line.
Thank you,
