How useful have other members found a blog as a means of showcasing their fiction?
I've just started one (it's on Wordpress at www.pennygadd51.wordpress.com in case you're interested). I'm hoping it's not going to be a waste of time that would be better spent writing, though.
What have you found, fellow writers?

I think it's a really good idea to have your own blog as well as being part of a group. Will have to check these out.
I have a separate blog which is nothing to do with writing though. I'm on a free package for now as I'm still experimenting. I use it to share information I feel could be useful to others.

I am just beginning to consider having a blog. Still in the planning and concepting stages but I do agree with Melania. Writing is not a waste of time for a writer. That's what writers do is write! I wish you well in your blogging and now that I am registered perhaps we'll "talk" more often. And I'll check out the blog. I want to learn and develop good writing skill. Any advice on beginning and starting a blog is more than welcome! All the best!
