I am a primary school teacher and I have just finished my first attempt at a children's story book that I have been wanting to write for years. My dream is to have the story published but I do not know where to start!
I feel that I may be out of my league looking at the quality and target audience of some of the writers on this website but I don't know where to go!
Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I didn't realise how long it took to write 450 words! This is still all very foreign to me! Any suggestions on where I can locate such an agent?
Hi Jo, first off well done on finishing your first book, I think your next step is to find an agent who takes on children's books, then go from there.
