Community writing game

Hi All,

 

I thought it would be a fun idea to start a community writing project here in the forum. All you have to do is think of the next sentence to follow the story. It can be any length of a sentence and can take any genre you like.

 

I'll start.

On a cold and windy evening the owl perched on the branch was his only friend.

Mr Fox, brave as he was, couldn't help but feeling a flicker of fear. There was something odd about the air. Something different. With his ears back, he steeled himself for whatever it was that was in the forest and moved towards the trees.
