Favourite place to write.

Do you have a favourite place to write?

I sit in the comfort of an armchair with my laptop, and a cup of black coffee close at hand. I may read a poem, or a chapter of a novel to get my creative juices flowing. Occasionally, I listen to classical music, but I mostly write and edit in silence.

Do you have a particular routine?

Somewhere quiet and peaceful, without interruption. So, my sofa when I'm home alone.

I have a desk that looks out onto the garden ... it/s the only place I work.

Silence is always good but I'm sometimes equally as creative In busy public place, as long as I can remain anonymous. Long train journeys, starbucks, hotel lobbies are best, I travel a lot through work so I guess I've had adapt if I want to write.
