Has anybody experienced authors following them when joining this website?

Hi June. I agree with the above to a large degree, but there was the case of a famous author who was acting as a judge in a short story competition and later published a collection himself and several of his pieces bore striking resemblances to competition entries which he had dismissed prior to the short list. I believe he was successfully sued.
Hi June, may I ask if you have had this experience? if not on this website then maybe on another. Like Adrian I think it unlikely that a successful author would get anything from following people looking for direction in nearly all aspects of the publishing world. Regards Paul.

It's unlikely that authors would follow me or any would-be author. There's nothing for them to gain by doing so.
