Giving up ?

Hello,

This might sound a little silly to ask, but do you guys ever have moments where you just want to throw out your drafts or shove your un published novels aside and call it quits ?

I mean I had just finished printing out a few pages I was about to edit, and found out I wasn't accepted in a literature program for college. It just crushed me. :(

Yes, that little green demon under the desk, clawing at your leg, and whispering 'you're not good enough' in your ear is somthing we've all encountered.

He's always there, and he's a monster. I've had my share of encounters and I've abandoned a few drafts because of it. Later, I have returned and thought that they were good, but needed a bit of TLC.

Fret not. Every great writer has gone through adversity. You just need to brace yourself with patience and tell yourself that you ARE good enough.
