I'm new to the community here. Just read the last three questions and their answers, and found the situation really bleak. Am I wrong? Is there any hope of getting an agent without marrying, stalking or sleeping with one or their neighbours?

Try Julia Churchill at A.M. Heath @juliachurchill she is excellent and if she does not take them, she might know who else to send them to. My company, the Oxford Editors, helps people find agents but we do charge for that. It is very, very hard but it is possible. I am happy to talk further if you email me at info@theoxfordeditors.co.uk
It is hard but the number of books that come out by new authors every year proves it is not impossible. Don't give up, but do your research on who is buying your sort of books and then send them a professional query letter and just keep going.
Have a great range Children's books that im dying to get out there. Can any 1 point me in the rite direction please...
Kind regards
