Why is it a case of every legit agent in the UK seems to be either on the run or avoiding new authors? I am aware that it is not only myself who is having trouble locating these elusive individuals let alone contacting them..... its like chasing a conspiracy theory.

I don't think you should have trouble with that genre, I've been looking for Fantasy but have certainly seen quite a bit of that...even if it is not a widely sought as say, Romance or Crime.

Have done a lot of research via the W&Y, agency AND agent sites/bios/blogs, SFF sites/boards/author blogs. Various advice blogs on the internet. Preditors & Editors. Specific searches.
