How much do you write a day?

I know that this can vary from person to person and on your mood and the day, but how much do you, on average, write a day while you work on you manuscript?

Thanks :)

It depends. On time, inspiration and objectives.

When I am editing it can vary from a few hundred words in/out to a simple line change in a block of text.

When I was writing the first draft I was averaging about 500 words a day on my daily commute. As my commute is not quite as long these days I don't tend to use that time for writing anymore, instead I use it for reading. So when I sit down to write something new I can average between 1000 and 1500 words depending on the time of day.

I do find that I am most productive late at night, and into the small hours of the morning.

I write at least four hours a day. I'm actually working on a story, and I try to write as many ideas as they come to my head.
