I'm really unsure!

I'm really unsure about my book. For the past 2 years I've had it finished and whenever anyone asks me, I just say I'm editting it. But, my mom heard it was finished from my school friend, now she is pushing publication. I'm only 17, aren't I a little young? I'm really scared....I don't know what to do. I want to publish it, but my age gets me worried. What shall I do?

Might I suggest that you put your book out to whoever your 'target audience' are, women, men, young adults ... whoever. Get two or three to read it and just see what they think.

I had mine out with beta readers ... I dreaded the first response. Went well though.

Congratulations on finishing it. That's quite something at your age.

Thanks, I've now seen that there are more logical ways to do this :)

Thanks that seems more logical and less of a headache than I was thinking it would be...

Thinking about it, I'm going to edit it one last time. I should proof read it once more before everyone gets fed up with me spending so long on it. Thank you for your advice! :)
