Davis, I am at the same point. There is a great impatience to send my manuscript out and there is exhaustion too. So I agree, one needs to slow down, perhaps extend your personal deadline by a few weeks, as manuscripts can be the culmination of years of work. Have a good coffee, walk, and try not to be too impatient, these are steps I am following.
