Microsoft Word Alternatives

by Michelle Yeboah

My trial on Microsoft Office has ended and to be honest for what Microsoft Office is I do not believe it is worth the price. Are there any good alternatives to MO. I have tried Open Office - which is okay but I don't really like it.

Thank you.

It can be difficult making the switch; I went from Word to Pages to Scrivener. Fortunately the Scrivener site has great video tutorials which cover most of the essential features and a decent Help function. It really is a great investment for writers!

I know a lot of writers swear by Scrivener. I didn't get on with it myself but then I tend to take awhile to work out new technology!

Were you using Microsoft Office exclusively for writing? If so, have you tried the writing software Scrivener? It is hands down the best program for organising your writing. I won’t go into an explanation of its features, but please check out the official site: https://www.literatureandlatte.com/ They have a free trial (if you’re sceptical).
