office word

I am using just the ordinary "office word" for my M/S is this ok for submission to an agent or is there a specific piece of software for typing M/S that has all the required spacings and layout they require? Thanks in advance.

Regards Paul.

Not that I can remember, but it probably will be if you decide to self pub in print. PDFs 'fix' the document so you don't get the issues with inadvertent changes when transferring files that you get with Word docs.

Thank you Jonathan I'll take a look at that, Is the PDF format something that is needed if I ever decide to go down the ebook route?

You can download free PDF converters - I use PrimoPDF. It just sits on your desktop and you drag and drop files you want to convert.
