Oh no!

Over the past couple of weeks I have become increasingly exhausted and have found I haven't been able to find he energy to write, and what I do write doesn't seem to me to be as good as I'd like (as with my recent poem I have uploaded) has anyone got any advice on hoe to get back into the swing of writing as often as I used to? I feel so odd being too tired to write o.O it's never happened before :(

The worrying makes sense Jonathan as I am going to university soon and will be far from my friends and family so I'm worried about that and my results, thank you for your advice itis very appreciated :)

You might be run down. Overworking. Worrying about something, even subconsciously.

Not writing is easy. It's just an escape route, because writing is really hard work.

Some people find writing easy, apparently. You see them on Facebook - '5000 words today and the ideas are pouring out'. Well bully for them, because for most of us it's not like that. George RR Martin once said, when asked, that he didn't enjoy writing - he enjoyed finishing. I bet a huge number of writers feel the same.

So don't feel bad about not writing. You will get stuck into it again, but when you want to. Because eventually the urge to put words down on paper is greater than the urge not to.

Keep the faith :)
