Over-promotion...or not?

Since my first novel has been in the top 100 on Amazon, and bearing in mind the inherent difficulty of promoting books, d'you think I'd get away with tagging it 'Amazon Bestseller' on my website?

Or is that too cheeky? :)

Amazon Top 100 is great going.

I'd mention Top 100. 'Amazon Bestseller' could cover anything up to Top 1000!

I agree with Gilly, do it.

It is not false information, you are not lying.

Your book has been in the top 100, there is nothing to get away with. Only suffering drop of sales for not mentioning how good it did so far.

Use it. I honestly don't see a reason not to.

It would be like having a skill which you don't mention in your CV. Why not?

I know I definitely would use it.
