Short stories alongside Novel

Hello!

Has anyone heard of/had experience with approaching a publisher/agent with a novel with supporting short stories.

Or is this something that is generally considered once you have a publisher/agent/both on side?

I know some authors have released supplementary material after the second/third/fourth sequel, but in your query letter to the publisher is it worth mentioning other potential works you may have in the pipeline?

Thanks

Anthony

I think that it's always worth mentioning other ideas... But, more importantly, if you had anything published before (short stories on magazines or even self-published work), make sure to mention it in you submission.

Good luck!!

I'm not sure I understood the question. Well, I don't believe it would be necessary. Be good or even bad, your "pipeline" works won't make your MS seems better or worse. Sorry if I got confused.
