Speaking rather than Writing?

I once considered getting a headset that would type out words that I was saying onto the computer instead of me typing when I started my book, just to help out however decided that I would hate having to clarify words and think about formulating words while I was in the 'flow'. I just wondered would other people prefer speaking to typing?

I held a Little Owl on Sunday, on a gauntlet. Totally gorgeous, plenty of attitude, of all the hawks, buzzards at the bird of prey centre, the handler said Dudley's bite was the worst. Deadly Dudley, the Bug Slayer.

I could speak a presentation, but I don't think I'd like to try speaking a novel draft. I'd get in a mighty tangle, I want a finger physically on the thread, so to speak.
