What is the point?

I'm thinking of ditching my account with this website on the basis that I've not had anything from it that has been remotely useful to me.

Also, the 2013 & 2014 short story competition entries were NOT ALL read by the judge OR any other resource. I have asked them for an explanation for this and hit a blank wall. If anybody can shed any light on either of the above I would be much impressed.

Really? How can that be? Just reading other questions and answers alone has been massively helpful to me.

Are you suggesting you can learn nothing from any of the other members on this site?

Sorry if I've misunderstood you.

@Admin

As far as I can tell there is no facility to delete my account.

Will you please DELETE my account with immediate effect.

Thank you

@Louise: I didn't enter the competition, I don't like short stories, i don't write short stories. My one and only point is that the 2500 to 30000 entries were not all read by the judge; it's actually impossible and impracticable for someone to give up three solid months of their time reading the entries to a free competition.

@Admin have come back and said they were all read. I still don't believe them.

I write comedy and make a good living out of it. I write topical material for stand up comedians around the globe but mostly in the UK, Australia, Canada and the USA.

I did have a go at writing drama and failed miserably.

I didn't think this would get so heated so now is the time to drop it.
