What do you usually do when you sit down to write?
Do you have tea? Biscuits? The TV on/muted? The radio on?
Do you start by re-reading what you last wrote?
Do you head to your plan first or do you just pick up from where you left off?
This is purely for my interest ^_^

Nothing like a deadline to create the need to sit down and write. This was why Nanowrimo was so good for me. I knuckled down to write about 2000 words per day, and found after lunch the best time, when everyone else had taken a nap. I knew I had to put the words down before they all got up again and found more 'interesting' things to do. It worked. So far I've entered twice and finished on time.
The Tv on or muted, it's not a matter, but I have to hear some noise, some life (cars, birds, our neighbor's dog) so I open the window in my room.
A sandwich or a soda and some biscuits are generally highly needed.
I can read what I wrote but most of the time (and especially when new ideas are rumbling in my head) I just jot down in any place. After that I can organize it.
