What is your writing routine?

What do you usually do when you sit down to write?

Do you have tea? Biscuits? The TV on/muted? The radio on?

Do you start by re-reading what you last wrote?

Do you head to your plan first or do you just pick up from where you left off?

This is purely for my interest ^_^

Working to a time limit seems to help. I set my kitchen timer for however long I've got, usually 30 to 60 mins and just write until the bell goes. I've been using my early hours like this for a couple of years and have managed nearly three novels so far.

Right now I'm actually trying to start up my routine. Testing out what works and what doesn't. I finally cleaned out my desk. I find it really difficult, just to stay focused. Although I try to at least do some writing exercises and a journal entry each day.
