When you finally decided to sit down and write a story whether it's a short story full novel screenplay or a book of poetry what was your intention. Was it to grab a bit of the limelight and fame or was it the money that interested you or maybe it was simply for pleasure.
Mine was simply pleasure I love creating story's but of course I would love the fame and fortune Who wouldn't.
Growing up I use to write a lot of poems & short stories, weither it was for school or even for myself. I loved coming up with different characters and shoving them into bizzare situations. Although I always had a hard time figuring out what I really wanted to do. I later took up drawing but people would always discourage me no matter what I tried to do.
For the longest time I had 3 paths to choose from writing, drawing and photography and I've finally decided that I really want to go for writing even though I have a lot to learn.
I believe I have something to say and a story to tell. I believe I have a voice that many choose to shut out for whatever reason. If I can't get my words across by speaking I will try to get them out by writing. I'm not doing it for the fame (even though it would be nice...) I'm doing it so I can prove to myself, that I am not a failure. That I can do something meaningful and that I am a somebody.
Damien - yes, both of those.
I'm gratified you noticed them. Thank you! :)
After writing any short story or novel i guess there would be nobody who would not like wanting fame... To me first, writing is my passion and i can only get fame when my works are up to that mark of fame.. And at the same time i too would love to get famous if possible;)
