When you finally decided to sit down and write a story whether it's a short story full novel screenplay or a book of poetry what was your intention. Was it to grab a bit of the limelight and fame or was it the money that interested you or maybe it was simply for pleasure.

Mine was simply pleasure I love creating story's but of course I would love the fame and fortune Who wouldn't.

I have found I write because I have to. And yes, having someone accept a story for publication is a great incentive to keep going.

The world is full of badly written books accepted by Agents and Publishers that sell in the thousands.

So it is all about the market place. But I will continue to write the stuff that interests me. And hope the market comes to me.

I have been reading this blog - From Disaster to a Dream Come True - Part 1 Getting an Agent - In a nutshell its - Never give up -

In my neighbourhood, English Literature is treated as a no go option - a weak option for boys. I just wanted to prove them wrong and I was deeply interested in writing!

So Pleasure combined with yearning for success !! :D
