What's your reasoning

When you finally decided to sit down and write a story whether it's a short story full novel screenplay or a book of poetry what was your intention. Was it to grab a bit of the limelight and fame or was it the money that interested you or maybe it was simply for pleasure.

Mine was simply pleasure I love creating story's but of course I would love the fame and fortune Who wouldn't.

At first it was a challenge to myself. I had always wanted to write stories, but because I'm dyslexic all my teachers said that I would never do it. So when I finished my GCSEs I started my first novel, and a year later I finished.

It took three mass edits to get all the spelling mistakes (I hope) but I did it.

It wasn't until I was near the end that I thought about being a published author. I write because it's a huge challenge, and I love creating worlds and characters. But being paid would be a huge bonus since you need an income to survive (also some fame would be nice, merely so that those people who thought I would never achieve anything would know how wrong they were :p )
