When are you most productive?

As we enter the back end of the year approaching christmas I find myself more productive in my writing, drawing or just pure brainstorming. Over the past few days I've created a breed sheet for the breed of horses from my novel and other creatures. I've also added another 15,000 words to the word count to the first novel (including minor editing - this is an achievement for me).

But I also find I'm more productive at my art in the mornings and my writing at night in the wee hours.

What time of day, month or year do you find yourself more productive?

I find I work best when there are a few distractions in the room (Television, radio) but if I have somebody in the room with me I get distracted and end up focusing on the distractions that are meant to help me focus.

I write better at home when it's nice and quiet, and during the warmer season I can write on the tram when I have to go in to town

Always very late in the evening when the house is quiet. I have sometimes written right the way through the night, but not since I went back to work. I also think I'm more productive in the summer but can't find any reason for that.
