How many of you prefer physical books to e-books? and if you do, why?
I'm always in two minds about physical vs. e-books, as I love physical books but know that it doesn't really make a difference to the actual story

I love the smell of a new book when you open the first page. I also like to see the thickness of the book and feel the weight of the story which you don't get with eBooks. Also eBooks can be a a little sterile in comparison to the physical book.
But on balance eBooks are a lot lighter to carry around with you. If you are like me and can read like an express train then the more books I can take on holiday the better. I find eBooks are definitely the lighter way to travel, especially when every ounce counts on the luggage weight.
I've read a lot of eBooks, but like Damien said, nothing beats out the actual physical copy's.
The feeling of looking upon your shelf filled with books is entirely different than having tons of books up on your Kindle or Nook, and nothing can replace that.
Hi Thomas,
I like both. The last two books have been e-books but the two before that were hardback copies. If it's a book I know I am going Love I always buy hardback editions. I would hate to see the traditional bookstore go completely off the high street. You can't beat the true feelings of a real book.
