Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying a copy of the Writers' & Artists' Yearbook 2017. Looks like this is where to find the agents. I also noticed there is Children's Writers' & Artists' Yearbook 2017.
My novel is for young adult, should I go for the Children's Writers' & Artists one?
Any advice will be very much appreciated.
Many thanks.
Melinda
Jimmy Hollis I Dickson, don't you shake your fist at me. The wind will change and you'll stay that way.
Melinda, if you have a library still, they may have a copy. Even if it's last year's it will give you an idea of what's in it.
Lorraine
Morning guys,
Thanks for the brilliant comments. I'll pop in to the book stores and look at them before buying.
Have a lovely day. :)
Melinda
"NB! Such a search will NOT turn up agents who mention young adults but not children's books."
So, it's a matter of changing your search parameters.
BTW, as well as shaking my fist at Lorraine, I gave her a thumbs up. (Proof of my split personality.) Please follow my example (omit the fist-shaking).
FYTUI (the TU stand for "totally useless"), last year I chose option c), this year option e). Unfortunately, the last time that I asked, you can't buy the digital version with PayPal. I'm hoping to receive my first-ever credit card in the next few days. Eager to see if La Gr@not@ made it into the listings (probably not, as they didn't send me a bottle of champagne to celebrate with. [sighs...])
