All works need endings, in fact its the last moments, the end that really makes a difference between the good and the great. There are a lots of works with some great endings, but there's always that one ending that we really like in comparison to the others, one we think as 'best'. So for you, what piece/work's ending was truly the 'best'?
Personally, I liked the ending of Harry Potter, I thought the last part was quite well done.
The most recent ending that I really loved was from The Humans by Matt Haig. Beautiful book, and the ending, without giving anything away, was heartwarming.
Currently I'm going to go with The last Hunger Games. It was the one I read most recently, but it keeps replaying in my head. And it makes me smile.
If I had to chose another I would say either Tuck Everlasting or Just Listen by Sara Dessen.
I genuinely don't remember the last ending I enjoyed. I never like it when they end!
