Science-Fiction is an ever-changing genre, responding to the advances in technology and the shifts in society around us. Along with the traditional challenges for writers, keeping up to date and embracing change is always important.

Join us for this lively panel discussion and Q+A where we’ll be exploring the state of sci-fi in 2022 as well as looking to the future of the genre to speculate on what’s next.

The author panel will include Sci-Fi and Fantasy authors Louise Carey, Anne Charnock, AG Riddle and Adrian Tchaikovsky, to discuss the current market and examine some of the key elements of writing great Science Fiction and what the future may hold for the genre.

The panel discussion will conclude with a Q&A session. Feel free to send questions in advance to pentoprint@lbbd.gov.uk
