Writing A Psychological Thriller

5th October 2022 7:00pm to 8:30pm, Online

Want to have your reader on the edge of their seat, demanding not just ‘whodunnit’ but why? From Gone Girl to My Sister, the Serial Killer psychological thrillers have the power to haunt readers’ dreams and keep them up at night.

In this masterclass, award-winning novelist Femi Kayode will be sharing his insight into creating a fast-paced story, plotting a gripping mystery and establishing a chilling atmosphere.

You will learn how to develop protagonists that have series potential, how to hone a narrative that delves into the ‘why’ behind the crime, and how to embed your novel into complex, modern landscapes.

15 minutes will be reserved for a Q&A at the end of the masterclass.

This masterclass will be online, video platform to be confirmed. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks.

All attendees will be able to purchase Femi’s books from our independent bookshop partner.
