I've had at least 4 reviews deleted by Amazon, leaving me with just one! Those deleted are all Facebook Friends or became friends after writing a review.
It appears that making new friends through writing isn't always such a good idea. As a result, I have added a request on my Amazon Biography, for readers not to send me friend requests.
Is anyone else having similar issues?
(Speaking of that, when are you going to contribute to THE saga?: https://www.writersandartists.co.uk/profile/emilie-van-damm/work/57ccc0f4387140b07f8b4569)
Since these are your FB friends - or friend of a friend - you could ask them to contact and complain.
It's a bugger, I know, but all authors have to invest energy and time in pushing their own books.
UK site responded, without any ind of investigation at all, with a standard reply:
"We can't supply any details about other customer's reviews. If they contact you, you can ask them to write to customer support".
Seriously, how many reviewers are going to go back and check Amazon hasn't removed any of their reviews and then would be bothered to report this to the author before writing again to Amazon?
