I just sent in my attempt and was surprised at just how difficult it was to condense my ideas into a 200 word limit.
More difficult even than poetry which can be freed up by the form you chose to use.
But with fiction I found the constraints that much tighter. Which I did not expect. Makes it a great writing expercise though, that's for sure.
Has anyone else experienced this or do you find Flash Fiction easy to write?
It was terrible!!! And really good to do at the same time.
I'm just hoping that the bones of the story are enough - and every word earns its keep.
I'm just letting it settle at the moment... we have a few more days, right?
