I hear so much about writers and rejections and was fearing the worst but what I received as a rejection made me feel quite proud about my efforts so far.

I'm afraid it is not quite right for ******** but I trust that you will find the right publisher in the near future.
All good wishes,
I always enjoy Adrian's quotes, but I also envy his capacity to be able to access the right quote at the right time. How on earth do you do it Adrian?
But a word on the rejection which after all this is about. It does sound encouraging that the "rejectionist" has taken the time to reply so encouragingly. Maybe it just wasn't his genre. My best wishes with the next and hope it is the exact opposite to a rejection.
Good luck Jeremy

In my experience, no, this is more encouraging than most. I've had four, which were better than no response, but clearly templates. They are all clixby, but I didn't expect anything else!

As a novice I have yet to experience rejection. When I do I hope it's as thoughtful as yours.
