Community writing game

Hi All,

 

I thought it would be a fun idea to start a community writing project here in the forum. All you have to do is think of the next sentence to follow the story. It can be any length of a sentence and can take any genre you like.

 

I'll start.

On a cold and windy evening the owl perched on the branch was his only friend.

The moon appeared from behind a cloud, the owl catching sight of a shadow changed direction, his owner followed the quick movement, wondering what he had seen.
