I was hoping to share the first chapter of my novel, which I hope is aimed at the age group from 10 to 15 but not being sure of these things I would like to know what other people think about that, and also I have roughly 4500 words is that too much to post, I can't really reduce the chapter to make it fit or it probably won't make sense. anyone with any ideas, PLEASE!!!
thanks both of you for getting back to me so fast. My protagonist, who dies on the operating table after an accident where he has an out of body experience before he is restored to the land of the living is 13 in the first chapter and the second chapter jumps to him being 14 as his adventures begin. One of the reasons my age range is so big is because I have no idea! you ask how I pitched the idea of the book I don't I can't it begins in my head and I watch the film that runs in my head and write it down I have never planned any of my work for some reason it seems to make sense, now whether it's any good, well that's a different matter. I want to post the first chapter but I want to do it as a whole so it makes sense unfortunately that's doesn't seem possible so I will have to think of something else. Regards Paul.
