Fun question, how many words do you write in a day?

I noticed there’s a promotion for the NaNoWriMo competition in the Blogs section. You have to write 50,000 words in a month, an average of 1666 words a day.

Good luck to those who enter.

What’s the most words you have written in a day, or in a month?

Graham Greene’s tip is to write 300 words a day.

That's 2100 a week, 109,200 a year.

Enough for a novel and the beginning of book two.

I usually don't count the words.

But statistics from Nanowrimo :

I wrote about 9000 words in a single day!

But usually it is not more than 500 - 700 words.....

Around 1000 when I'm at work

Maybe around 3000-4000 If I'm not....

Just an estimate though
