hi-I am scared to ask this question, but I'll go ahead anyway. I really hope for replies! In a scenario in my recent novel-a group of people whose only similarity is they have all faced life-changing challenges recently, are asked to join a secret (potentially dangerous) mission whose details will be revealed only after they have signed up. Their reward would be their greatest desire being fulfilled. They don't have to identify that wish yet, they don't know how it will come true-but they have the choice of signing up or walking away and perhaps fulfilling their dream their own way. Would you sign up? Why?
Yeah, I would. Because if you fail at least you tried. Failure is a part of life as much as success is, even more so
Yes, it makes sense. I have a nice twist to the ending because of destiny vs.choice.
Sonya. It's not because of destiny that I wouldn't. It's because I wouldn't walk blindly into an someone else's 'unknown' mission. So sure, rationale kicks in but it's more that I'm responsible for my own path / journey. Does that make sense?
