Hello all and a happy new year.
I have just had a renewal notice for my pc office. It also warned that if I didn't renew I could have problems using the installed software. I had no idea I had to renew every year my office software. Just wondered if there is any other software as good as word, that I can buy outright? any ideas?

I got fed up with windows long ago and switched to Apple where you get their WP called Pages, pre-installed. I have not regretted it.
Thanks Jonathan, I'll take a look. I don't mind paying, but I feel I have been held to ransom over something I thought I had bought outright with the new laptop (well bought for me as a Christmas present) December 2014. They kept the fact quiet it had to be renewed.
