Oh no!

Over the past couple of weeks I have become increasingly exhausted and have found I haven't been able to find he energy to write, and what I do write doesn't seem to me to be as good as I'd like (as with my recent poem I have uploaded) has anyone got any advice on hoe to get back into the swing of writing as often as I used to? I feel so odd being too tired to write o.O it's never happened before :(

I haven't written anything in a couple of weeks. But its better to wait it out. When I write, I can write for days, but dont force yourself or you will end up writing rubbish... Let it come to you.

Even if you feel as if you haven't written as well enough, at least you have had the mindset and are probably thinking of more ideas to add. To get back on writing, you need to start off with free writing which can be done anywhere. You can either write non stop for 5 minutes, writing anything that is in your head including if you have no idea what to write- that can be turned to a story! Or, the other way to free write is to have someone read out a word every minute and you have to include in your story/sentence. Free writing is a personal thing however.

Its okay to lag.

I've been asked many times - how much do I write everyday.

I don't.

I prefer to write when my insides are screaming out for me to write! Then I know, I have something to say.

Targets and expectations can be very stressful, and in my experience, this takes the enjoyment away.

I've been writing stories for 11 years. And I still enjoy writing them. For me, my enjoyment with writing drives me to write.

Maybe you are pushing yourself too hard. Writing, and the Internet can be a drug.

Perhaps take a few days off, and relax, and let the ideas build up inside your head.
