One book or two?

I've been working on a novel since August last year and I'm about half way through. But I came up with an idea for another novel and I've started writing that too! Has anyone else got multiple projects on the go? I don't think it's a bad thing. But I do feel like I'm cheating on my first novel :-)

Fingers crossed for story #3 and getting it published.

I started #1 and got stuck after 2500 wds so put it aside to let it unconsciously develop, same happened with #2; so am on #3 and have finished 1st draft and started 2nd draft. Meanwhile, I have made summissions to short-story competetions (including WAYB12).

It's good to have diff projects on the go.When #3 goes off to an agent in the spring/summer, I will revive #1 or #2.

Thanks everyone! As I say I don't think it's a bad thing at all having more than one project on the go. Was just curious to see whether others are doing the same. If anything it shows you you're not just a one book wonder!
