I am curious as to what books you read.
What books are you reading at moment?
How many are you reading at the moment, and by what authors?
Are they contemporary award-winning authors, or traditional authors?
Do you think the authors you read have enhanced your writing skills?
I am reading, Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte.
Idylls of the King - Tennyson.
The English Novel - Walter Allen
Beyond Good and Evil - Nietzche.
Jane Eyre is brilliant.
Idylls of the King is excellent.
The English Novel is an interesting history of the Novel.
Beyond Good and Evil is a challenging read. I will continue to read it a page at a time.
I've just finished re-reading Gregory Maguire's "Wicked" and have started on The Lord of the Rings. It should keep me occupied for about the next nine months or so.
I'm reading 'The Hunger Games' by Suzanne Collins, I am enjoying it and I can read a chapter in 25 or so minutes (Since I read on the tram and that's how long it takes me to get to where I need to go lol) There has been one or two moments where I don't think the editor didn't pick up on something they should have done, but it's only something where it say 'For ever' and not 'Forever'
Have any of you 'liked' Book Riot on Facebook? They showed a postcard today which describes exactly what I was saying. The caption reads 'Book hangover: Inability to start a new book because you are still living in the last book's world.'
Yeah, I get those a lot.
