What types of books are there on your shelves?

I like the physical presence of books in my home. Books on shelves have a magnetic attraction. They are in easy reach if I need to refer to them.

We have piles of them ... but mostly non-fiction and including my university anthologies. We've recently sorted through the books because we have too many. We're taking a couple of hundred of them to a charity shop when we next go to the UK. What we have left fill a wall and they're organised into fiction, plays, philosophy, reference ... etc. :D

I have a kindle, but it's just not the same as seeing filled bookshelves!

On mine, I have non-fiction as well as fiction. X-ray diffraction to The Hunger Games lol!

Forensic Anthropology to Harry Potter!

Pity my living room isn't big enough for another dresser :(
