This online writing for children course is suitable for adults who would like to write books for children or young adults. It will cover the basics of storytelling and the specific aspects of writing for children and young adults. Each module will contain short exercises and the tutor will provide feedback on those exercises.
Each module will have four elements: Writing Stages, Story Elements, Reading Levels, Exercises. Each week, one or two of the exercises will be aimed at a different reading level, from first-time reader up to fluent reader.
To sign up for the Writing For Children Course, visit out writing course page and follow the link to book your place. Please note that we do not require you to fill out a registration form. Instead, please click on the ‘Check Out Securely’ button. During the payment process you can input your name and email address which we will use to register you on the course. If you’d prefer to use another email address for the course correspondence or if you’re paying on behalf of another student, when you have processed the payment, please send the relevant email address and name for the course correspondence to info@creativewritingink.co.uk. Once you have processed the payment, we will email you within 24 hours to confirm receipt.
