The Workshop:

Horror has long had a home in books, films and TV, but of late has found a new home online in the form of creepypasta, a dark folklore born of web forums, social media and video streaming sites. But what place does this internet-born brand of horror have in the genre going forward, and what can horror writers learn from the techniques and approaches seen in so many creepypasta? In this workshop we'll offer a succinct history of the form, look at its key facets and develop a new piece of work inspired by the form.
 

Zoom:

The workshop will be online, on Zoom, and you will receive a link via Eventbrite before the workshop begins, guiding you to the Zoom page. Please note the session will be recorded by Alex and then a Dropbox link will be sent out to all attendees afterwards, with worksheets and other goodies.
