Community writing game

Hi All,

 

I thought it would be a fun idea to start a community writing project here in the forum. All you have to do is think of the next sentence to follow the story. It can be any length of a sentence and can take any genre you like.

 

I'll start.

On a cold and windy evening the owl perched on the branch was his only friend.

It would also be her last chance, for she would not survive another Banishing spell, nor would another Enchanted battle take place. This was the Last War. The Prophecy promised a Ruler, whether that Ruler be of Light or Dark only Fate could decide!

Lylona felt the brush of Lerajie's touch on the wind that carried her name. She knew she must return to him tonight or all would be lost. The armies were gathering. This she knew. It had been foretold.

And she knew, which distracted her. For a moment she allowed some real emotion to show through her steely exterior. A tear ran down her face. The anguish of missing him. Missing the warm touch of Lerajie for all these years especially now that she was 'damaged'.

The look of dogged determination drew itself upon her face. She wanted Moonstripe to suffer and was sure that this potion would ensure it.
