Hi All,

I thought it would be a fun idea to start a community writing project here in the forum. All you have to do is think of the next sentence to follow the story. It can be any length of a sentence and can take any genre you like.

I'll start.

On a cold and windy evening the owl perched on the branch was his only friend.

Moonstripe was completely unrecognisable in his human form. His hair formed a white mohican. He closed his eyes as the howls and cries of the creatures tore the silence of the forest to shreds. Their calls were fuel for him. His open wounds ran red but he knew it was all necessary.

Moonstripe wailed as he felt his body stretch and tear. With his head thrown back he felt his throat balloon and the wailing sound became a gutteral, human scream. The transformation back to human was unbearable and the wounds inflicted on him as beast re-opened and created a pain he could almost not endure.

It was time. Lylona, Spell Wielder, added the Enchanted Pellet to her potion and spoke the incantation preceding the Word that must be spoken only once at the moment that Death descended upon the Forest. As the last syllable was uttered, those who slept for one hundred years, those who had passed on and those who had been changed so long ago that they could not or would not remember came forth. Animals of the forest moved as if bubbling, melting and stretching all at once.

Stench became the warrior he knew he'd always been, expert in broad sword and bow. Fang was a 'runner', a common foot soldier, swift and fleet of foot.
