A favourite place to write?

Does anyone have a favourite place to write? As well as writing at home, I used to go to a local village cafe every Thursday and treat myself to a coffee and some lunch at the same time as writing for a couple of hours. I really looked forward to it and got some good pieces of wrting done (in my opinion) - but then they decided to put the background music up and I found I couldnt hear myself think. Now I just write at home but may venture out to a local pub for a non alcoholic beverage and lunch and see what that brings.

At home, at night when my kids are sleeping and all is quiet. I live some 12km out of town on a river bank, so there's no traffic or other noise, just the sound of frogs and an occasional hippo.

Well, I am going to try the village cafe again tomorrow - it's their last chance for my custom but if the music is too loud I shall take my custom elsewhere. Thanks for sharing your places to write

No matter the place... I just need to be alone and quiet. Well, a silence place so.
